Anguilla’s leading beach resorts receive star awards from Forbes Travel Guide

Several of Anguilla’s luxury beachfront resorts have earned high ratings in this year’s Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards.

Four Seasons Resort Anguilla and Cap Juluca were both awarded five stars, while Aurora Anguilla Resort and Quintessence Hotel each received four stars.

The awards recognise properties that meet the hotel and restaurant guide’s rigorous global standards for luxury, service and guest experience.

They are given after anonymous inspectors evaluate hotels and restaurants against hundreds of strict criteria. Only properties meeting these criteria earn a star.

In a press release, Diego Stembert, general manager of Four Seasons Resort Anguilla, said: “This honour is a true testament to the dedication and passion of our entire team at Four Seasons Anguilla.

“Achieving the Forbes five-star rating for the fourth consecutive year is not just an accomplishment – it reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

“Our team’s relentless pursuit of excellence is what defines us, and we are incredibly grateful to our guests for their continued trust and support.”

Meanwhile, Eleonore Astier-Petin, general manager at Cap Juluca, told Anguilla Focus she was thrilled with the team’s performance and the resort’s ongoing success.

“We’re incredibly proud of the team who bring the spirit of Cap Juluca to life every day, and grateful to our guests whose continued trust inspires us to uphold the highest standards of hospitality here in Anguilla.”

In a Facebook post, Quintessence Hotel said the four-star distinction highlights ‘Team Q’s’ continued dedication to excellence in hospitality at the Relais and Chateaux luxury hotel branded resort.

“Quintessence represents the ultimate in refined and secluded luxury in Anguilla, an island consistently acknowledged as the Caribbean’s leading destination for stunning beaches, luxurious accommodations and epicurean dining,” it added.

Amanda Frasier, president of standards and ratings for Forbes Travel Guide said the winners exemplify excellence in hospitality.

“This year’s list reflects the changing landscape of luxury with properties setting the standard for authentic experiences while offering unparalleled amenities, enhanced well-being and delivering unforgettable moments.

In October last year, Cap Juluca, A Belmond HotelFour Seasons, and Malliouhana each earned two Keys in the Michelin Guide’s newly launched awards.

The two-Key rating is the second highest available and signifies excellence in design, service, character, value, community contribution and overall guest experience.
