The Government of Anguilla will be giving EC$500,000 to Jamaica to support with Hurricane Melissa recovery efforts, the premier has announced.

Cora Richardson Hodge, who also serves as finance minister, told a government press conference on 10 November that the funds have been allocated for disaster relief.

“That is a collaborative effort that’s taking place along with the Government of Anguilla, outside of the contribution that we have just mentioned,” the premier added.
