Anguilla residents urged to follow DDM WhatsApp channel for latest alerts

Anguilla’s Department of Disaster Management (DDM) is urging the public to stay connected this Atlantic hurricane season through its official WhatsApp channel.

The department launched the platform in April with the aim of keeping residents informed about critical updates, alerts and preparedness tips related to disasters and emergencies in Anguilla.

“As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing communication and ensuring public safety, the… channel will serve as a vital platform for delivering real-time information directly to your mobile device.

“Subscribers can expect to receive timely notifications about weather advisories, evacuation notices, emergency contacts and essential preparedness measures,” it said.
