The Royal Anguilla Police Force has confirmed the discovery of human skeletal remains in Rey Hill.
Officers responded to the location where the remains were found on the morning of Tuesday, 24 March, a press release said.
The scene was subsequently secured and investigations are now underway in collaboration with relevant agencies to establish the circumstances surrounding the discovery.

According to police, preliminary observations suggest the remains may have been at the location for a “considerable period of time”.
However, formal identification and further details will depend on the outcome of forensic examinations.
Police are urging members of the public to avoid speculation while inquiries remain ongoing.
Details as to the sex or age of the deceased have not yet been release.
