Anguilla Football Association hosts launch of Concacaf’s Bigger Game

The Anguilla Football Association (AFA) hosted the island’s soft launch of Concacaf’s regional ‘Bigger Game’ programme this weekend.

The event, on Saturday, 1 March, brought together young footballers aged five to 12 from Anguilla’s grassroots academies.

They enjoyed a day of fun, skill development and community building at the Raymond E Guishard Technical Centre.

In a press release, AFA president Girdon Connor said: “We are proud to have been a part of this exciting new programme and are thrilled with the success of the festival.

“The Bigger Game programme has great potential to positively impact the lives of young people in Anguilla and beyond.

“We look forward to seeing this initiative grow and help shape the future of football in our community.”
