Anguilla Magistrate’s Court has granted bail to two men who were charged separately with grievous bodily harm and assault.
Javel Carty, 38, of South Hill, who received the GBH charge, appeared in court on 20 November where he was given EC$25,000 bail with one surety and conditions.
He must surrender all travel documents, not leave Anguilla by any means without court permission, and have no contact with the virtual complainant.

Devaune Mussington, 28, of North Valley, who was charged with assault, appeared before the magistrate on 21 November where he was granted EC$5,000 bail with one surety and conditions.
He must ave no contact, whether directly or indirectly, by himself or through any agent, with the virtual complainant, be of good behaviour and keep the peace.
A press release on 24 November announcing the charges said: “The Royal Anguilla Police Force remains committed to ensuring public safety and upholding the administration of justice within the community.”
