Ailyn Tavarez Sanchez crowned Anguilla’s Miss Talented Teen 2025

Ailyn Tavarez Sanchez was crowned Miss Talented Teen 2025 during a glamorous and inspiring night that celebrated poise, talent and ambition.

The annual event, a highlight on the Anguilla Summer Festival calendar, welcomed a packed crowd of supporters at the Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre.

It was held on the evening of 31 July under the theme ‘Metamorphosis’ – a nod to the transformation and growth experienced by the young contestants.

Five bright, talented and ambitious young Anguillian women showcased their skills in public speaking, presentation and stage presence throughout the show.

Among the key segments were a talent performance, evening wear display, onstage presentation, and a question-and-answer interview.

Alongside the main title, Sanchez received the awards for ‘Best Performing Talent’, ‘Best Evening Wear Presentation’ and ‘Best Interview’.

She was awarded a scholarship cheque valued at EC$27,000 to attend the University of the West Indies – a prize recognising both her performance and academic aspirations.

First runner-up Tajayne N Summer Rogers also received the awards for ‘Miss Congeniality’ and ‘Best Personal Aspiration Speech’.

Second runner-up was Ayana Carty, with Denayja Cognette earning the title of ‘Miss Photogenic’. Uniqua Romney Dupigny also gave a strong showing.

All five contestants were celebrated for their remarkable poise, talent and dedication throughout the competition.
