Javille Brooks, vice president of the Anguilla Football Association (AFA) executive council responsible for facilities development, has been appointed as a member of the FIFA Stadium and Security Committee.
The committee plays a crucial role in overseeing global standards for football infrastructure and safety, ensuring that stadiums worldwide meet the highest levels of quality, accessibility and security.
In this role, Brooks will advise on stadium safety and security, inspect venues, and help ensure FIFA competitions meet international standards.

A statement from the AFA congratulated Brooks on the appointment and expressed full confidence in his ability to bring insight, integrity and innovation to the global committee.
It said the appointment highlights FIFA’s recognition of Brooks’ steady leadership, technical expertise and unwavering commitment to building safe, world-class football environments.
It also “reflects both his deep dedication to the growth of Anguilla’s football facilities and the increasing visibility of the Anguilla Football Association within international football governance”, the AFA added.
The AFA is the governing body responsible for organising, promoting and developing football activities and competitions in Anguilla.
