Anguillian FIFA referee officiates matches at CFU Caribbean Club Shield

FIFA referee Khamal Harding-Hodge from Anguilla officiated at four matches during the recent CFU Caribbean Club Shield 2025 in Trinidad and Tobago.

He worked as both a referee and the fourth official during the regional fixtures from 25 July to 1 August, according to a press release from the Anguilla Football Association (AFA) on 12 August.

“Harding-Hodge’s participation highlighted his professionalism, skill and commitment to excellence in refereeing – qualities that continue to shine on both local and international stages,” it said.

Harding-Hodge was also fourth official at Scholars International SC (Cayman Islands) vs AC Port of Spain FC (Trinidad) and Club Franciscain (Martinique) vs Scholars International SC (Cayman Islands).

And he acted as referee during the match between Academia Quintana FC (Puerto Rico) vs Real Rincon (Bonaire).

In addition to these matches, he participated in high-level training sessions alongside top referees from across the Caribbean.

This further enhanced his expertise and contributed to the ongoing growth of officiating standards in the region, the press release said.

The AFA commended him for representing Anguilla with distinction in the tournament and for inspiring the next generation of referees to aim for excellence and embrace high level opportunities.

Harding-Hodge was officially appointed to the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA)’s prestigious 2025 international referee list in January.

It marked a historic moment for the AFA and signals the return of the island to the global football stage after 17 years without a FIFA-listed referee.
