Two men who were charged with illegal firearm and ammunition possession have been remanded to His Majesty’s Prison as they await their next court appearance.
Officers of the Tactical Unit arrested Kacio Harrigan, 30, of Stoney Ground and Ajani Stapleton, 20, of Mount Fortune shortly after 7pm on 22 July while on mobile patrol.
Both appeared in the Magistrate’s Court in the Atlin Noraldo Harrigan Parliamentary Building in The Valley on 25 July.
Harrigan was granted bail of EC$100,000 with a $25,000 cash component, but failed to meet the conditions, while Stapleton was denied bail.
Both men will remain in prison pending their next court dates.
