The Royal Anguilla Police Force is urgently appealing to the public for help in locating a stolen vehicle believed to have been used in two armed robberies earlier today.

The vehicle is described as a white 2013 Honda CR-V bearing the license plate PG 954.

In a statement on 2 June, police said the car was initially taken during a robbery in Island Harbour and is suspected to have been involved in a second robbery shortly afterward.

The individuals associated with the vehicle are believed to be armed and dangerous. Members of the public are strongly advised not to approach the vehicle or anyone inside it.

Police received a report just after 2pm of a robbery in progress at a lottery business in Island Harbour, during which two masked, armed assailants assaulted a woman and stole cash.

They stole her car and fled the scene. About ten minutes later, a second robbery was reported.

A vehicle matching the description of the one stolen at the lottery business pulled into the parking lot of a supermarket.

The assailants were wearing dark clothing including masks. One suspect was slim and tall, but no further definite descriptions are available at this time.

Police have asked for the public’s cooperation in sharing this information widely to help protect community safety and assist in their ongoing investigation.
