Anguilla’s general election will take place on 25 and 26 February, giving candidates just one month to secure voter support.
Speaking in a video posted online on 28 January, party leader Cora Richardson-Hodge said the election is an opportunity to choose leaders “who will fight for you, listen to you and deliver for you”.
“The Anguilla United Front stands ready to lead with a clear and bold vision ‘putting people first’,” she said.
“This is not just our slogan. It is our commitment to you. It is the foundation of everything we stand for.”
A plan for Anguilla
Richardson-Hodge said the party’s mission is to ease the financial burden on families and businesses, create jobs and rebuild the economy.
“We will prioritise education and healthcare, invest in housing and build a sustainable future where every Anguilla has a chance to thrive,” she said.
“This is not just a dream, it is a plan, and it will be delivered by a team of dedicated, capable and visionary leaders who are ready to serve.”
The AUF leader added that her team has the strength, the heart and the determination to create a brighter Anguilla.
“As you prepare for this election, I urge you to be discerning. Look closely at the vision, the track record and the values of those seeking your vote,” she said.
“This is your moment to demand better, to demand leadership that puts people first, not politics.”
