The Royal Anguilla Police Force has released new details in the ongoing search for 27-year-old Teric Glenston Hickson, who has been missing for nearly three weeks.
The 27-year-old unemployed mechanic from Tackling Estate was last seen by his cousin at his grandmother’s home at about 10pm on 4 January.
He had spoken to other family members earlier that day.
Hickson is described as having dark skin, short black dreadlocks, a black beard (as pictured), is slim and about six feet tall.
He was wearing a black t-shirt with the number 23 on it when he was last seen.
In new information, police this week told Anguilla Focus that he had no known planned trip, nor appointment.
His only mode of transport was a bicycle but that remained at his home. His cross body bag and yellow crocs that he carried with him most of time were also at his home.
Family members have confirmed Hickson had substance abuse issues but no other known health concerns.
The police force in collaboration with the Anguilla Fire and Rescue Department formed search parties late on the evening of 8 January and into 10 January, but have been unable to locate the man.
“We are urging anyone with information about Teric’s whereabouts to come forward immediately. No tip is too small, and any detail could be crucial in bringing him home safely,” police said.
