Police force celebrates year’s top performers at awards ceremony

The Royal Anguilla Police Force celebrated the outstanding achievements of its top performers during its Award and Recognition Ceremony 2024.

The event on 2 December at the Governor’s Office in Old Ta highlighted the dedication and hard work of officers and staff in serving the community.

In a Facebook post, the police force congratulated all of the awardees and said their hard work and commitment inspire everyone to strive for excellence.

It added: “We applaud all our honourees for their extraordinary contributions to the Royal Anguilla Police Force and the community. Let’s continue working together to make a positive impact.”

The awards were split into three categories:

  • Commendations, for acts of bravery, life-saving efforts or exceptional performance.
  • Certificates of merit, for sustained contributions to public safety or high performance.
  • Letters of recognition, for significant contributions to the force’s performance, reputation or community service.

The awardees of commendations were:

The sole awardee of a certificate of merit was:
  • WPC 110 Khimba Lawrence-Maunday
