Kishanté Connor-Carty showcases Anguilla on the regional pageant stage

Kishanté Connor-Carty has returned home after representing Anguilla at the Essence and Mind International Swimsuit Pageant in St Maarten.

The Miss Anguilla 2026 first runner-up competed alongside nine other delegates from across the region in the showcase of beauty, confidence and personality.

While she did not secure a place among the winners, her performance added another achievement to her successful pageant journey.

In a press release, the Anguilla Festivals Development Commission said the island is proud of Connor-Carty’s participation.

“You carried our island with grace, poise and beauty, and we celebrate and support you and your accomplishments,” the commission said.

“Every opportunity to represent Anguilla beyond our shores is an opportunity to showcase the talent, confidence and excellence of our young people.”

St Maarten’s Dashaun Prince took the crown in the competition, which took place at the Aleeze Convention Centre on 3 October.

First runner-up was Zaine Fredrick representing Antigua and Barbuda and Liberty Woodley representing St Kitts and Nevis took the second runner-up prize.

Connor-Carty returned home to a warm reception and was greeted on arrival by commission chief executive officer Amber Woodley.

Family, friends and supporters were also on hand to welcome her home and celebrate her achievement.

During the Miss Anguilla 2026 contest in August, Connor-Carty was named first runner-up and won Best Ambassadorial Wear, Best Swimwear, Miss Congeniality and Miss Photogenic.
