Anguilla Focus to donate first payment of new memberships to Anguilla Red Cross

For the next three months, Anguilla Focus will donate the first payment from every new membership sign-up to the Anguilla Red Cross.

By becoming a member, readers will not only support independent journalism and get exclusive content and perks, but also help the non-profit to provide essential services to the community.

The Anguilla Red Cross, which has been in existence since 1943, was established in 1976 as an overseas committee of the British Red Cross, before becoming an overseas branch.

At Anguilla Focus we keep our core content free for everyone – but our members get access to even more! Click here to join from just $4/month.

Director Pamela Riley said: “The Anguilla Red Cross supports communities through disaster preparedness and response, health and wellbeing initiatives, youth development and community outreach.

“Partnerships and donations like these are essential in helping us strengthen our programmes, reach more people and build a more resilient Anguilla.

“By supporting the Anguilla Red Cross, you help us to help others. We are truly grateful for community partners who share our commitment to making a difference.”

Readers can  join Anguilla Focus to support the initiative and enjoy unlimited access to exclusive content, editorials, giveaways, discount codes and insider access for US$4, $8, $12 or $20 per month.

Editor Rebecca Bird said: “We’re not supported by wealthy investors or shareholders, so we rely on our members to keep our reporting independent and sustainable.

“We’re so grateful to everyone who joins our membership community and are pleased to turn every new sign-up into support for a local cause.”

Anguilla Focus has been donating first payments for new memberships to non-profits for the past nine months. New members have previously helped to raise US$72 for AARF and $188 for FirstStarts.
