A 41-year-old man from North Hill sustained a gunshot wound to the leg during a shooting in South Hill in the early hours of Wednesday, 4 February.
The Royal Anguilla Police Force received a report from the Princess Alexandra Hospital at about 12.28am which said a man had arrived in the emergency room with a gunshot wound.
Officers responded immediately and launched an investigation, police said in a press release. The man received medical treatment and has since been discharged.

Preliminary reports indicate the shooting took place at a bar in South Hill, with detectives pursuing multiple lines of enquiry into the circumstances.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at about midnight and saw or heard anything unusual to contact police.
