A 32-year-old man from North Valley has been sentenced to four years and six months in prison for multiple firearms offences.
Brandon Carty was charged with possession of a firearm without a licence, possession of 27 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition, and possession of 44 rounds of 9mm ammunition.
On 7 November 2025, he pleaded guilty to the offences, which were committed more than 12 months earlier on 1 July 2024 in North Valley.

Carty was sentenced in Anguilla High Court on 18 December to four years and six months imprisonment on each count, with the sentences to run concurrently.
The court ordered that 504 days he had already spent on remand be credited toward his sentence and included in the calculation of remission.
