“Each contestant brought beauty, talent and Caribbean pride to the stage,” the pageant organisers said in a Facebook post.
“All the contestants were outstanding, making this pageant a truly memorable celebration of young Caribbean excellence.”
In a feature video recorded before the competition, 17-year-old Tavarez Sanchez spoke about the natural beauty, culture and spirit of Anguilla.
“Our Caribbean artistry speaks louder than borders. It is found in the echo of our ancestors, in every heartbeat, every brushstroke and every turn,” she said.
She described Anguilla as the island “where beauty lies, not just in our white sands and turquoise water, but in the resilience, creativity and spirit of our people”.
The Anguilla Summer Festival organisers congratulated Tavarez Sanchez on her success, recognising her milestone achievement.
“From Anguilla to St Kitts, you carried your talent, grace and confidence onto the regional stage and made us incredibly proud,” they wrote in a Facebook post.
“Your hard work, dedication and shining spirit truly set you apart. Keep reaching higher and inspiring others. The future is bright, and this is only the beginning.”
