She appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on 21 August and was granted bail in the sum of EC$40,000 with one surety, according to a police press release.

Her conditions include to be of good behaviour, keep the peace, not interfere with anyone connected with the incident, surrender her passport, and not travel without the court’s permission.

In October 2024, the police press office told Anguilla Focus that an operational decision had been made to withhold the dates of upcoming court appearances.

The decision reduces risks to the judicial process and the safety of those involved, preventing potential attacks or disruptions during court proceedings, police said.
