Work on the new terminal at Clayton J Lloyd International Airport is progressing well, with completion expected in October.
A government update on 19 August highlighted key milestones achieved in several areas including the building, infrastructure, finishes, experience, airside and apron.
To begin, building and infrastructure works are progressing well, it said, with exterior stucco nearing completion.

The parking lot is 85% finished, power now energised to the main distribution panel, and the elevator installed with the HVAC system set to be operational soon.
Structural and finishes works include the roof structure which is now complete with final waterproofing underway, and windows and doors fully installed to create a sealed building envelope.
Major carpentry and canopy works are wrapping up, and sheetrock and ceiling installation is 85% complete with painting and finishing in progress, the government update said.
In terms of passenger experience, the pre-board screening (PBS) area has been equipped with state-of-the-art CTX screening machines and a body scanner, ensuring speed, efficiency and top-tier security.
The space has been designed to accommodate up to three security lanes, allowing for future growth, the government update added.
In addition, a new mezzanine public lounge with a bar and seating will provide passengers and visitors with a modern space overlooking the runway.
Airside and apron works are progressing steadily, with the drainage system 85% complete and advanced trench drains installed, and floodlight masts and control systems are in place to enhance visibility and safety.
Apron works in phase one are nearing 95% completion, preparing the area for aircraft parking upon opening.
“The Government of Anguilla extends thanks to the dedicated engineers, supervisors, carpenters, masons, and all workers on-site who are ensuring this historic project becomes a reality,” it said.
